The Strut Guys, Inc. is a fledgling corporation specializing in construction materials and supports including X-ray and other medical support systems. When they came to Archangel Digital it was with a clean slate. They wanted us to develop and mold their brand from the ground up.

The first step was to create a corporate logo that would identify them instantly to their construction partners, but also resonate with search clientele on the internet. As such, the main logo for The Strut Guys is based on strut itself, the main thrust of their business.

The client also wanted a character based logo design that would soften the edges and make their brand even more resonant.

The one thing the client had already done was secured a web address and hosting. Unfortunately, they hadn't consulted Archangel Digital for our recommendations regarding the best host to use. We also offer hosting ourselves, but our consultation services are always free of charge to our clients. Nevertheless, we were easily able to adapt to the proprietary software needed to create their site. The finished product is dynamic, interesting, and maximized for searchbots from Google, Yahoo!, etc.

The essential thing the client wanted from the site was ease of use & simplicity of message within an attractive shell that wasn't just black text on a white background... and we think it was a wise choice.

Currently, The Strut Guys, Inc. is shooting up in the searches as we continue to refine the keywords and meta tags to maximize their hits. Included in all of our website development services are 3 rounds of search term refinement. After all, there's not much point in having a site that nobody can find! Who jumps to page 32? After the logo and online components were completed, we were able to turn our attention to more physical considerations like this spectacular 15pt business card. The client opted for a matte aqueous finish for the back, which is great for writing. They also decided to have B&W on the back, though full color was a free option.

Using multiple coordinated elements, the business card will reinforce the website, the t-shirts we've designed for them will redouble that, and the branding process has begun.

The Strut Guys also wanted help in developing their initial mailer, which for their industry serves as their most prominent and effective advertising. With our graphics and wordsmith services to help focus their ideas, a nice introduction was able to be mass produced and distributed to prospective clients.
