The pictures of the boy below were somewhat faded, but the biggest defects were with the creasing and tearing that had happened. Along with those creases are also many small scratches on the surfaces of the print. By applying our restoration techniques, we improved the contrast of the photo as well as removed the damage that had otherwise been done.

In that first image, the client wanted the border removed from the picture, and he also wanted it made into a standard modern size. Some additional material was inserted into the picture, the border was removed, and the scratches, rips, and creases were repaired. 

Using our Gold Restoration tier, this picture has been preserved for future generations, an important consideration given that this was the only photograph of the boy close to that age.

Fire damage was once the ruination of hand rendered images like the one below. The Digital Age, however, has given this image a new lease on life, and one that could even be better... notice the brown coloration at the back of his head? It's where the color artist overshot. With our Imagination Restoration Services the coloration of this image could be greatly improved for a very reasonable fee.

The fetching young lady below had yellowed and aged badly through the years. The glass in her frame breaking and causing the damage you see certainly didn't help. This being, as with most of our restorations, the only copy of this image, it was well worth saving... and maybe even enhancing. Also pictured is one of our Silver Restorations that the same client had and a wonderful composite that brings the two together!
